THE RESULTS OF THE RATING OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF MUNICIPALITIES OF MORDOVIA HAVE BEEN SUMMED UP
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia has formed a rating of the socio-economic development of municipalities based on statistical data for 2022. Its results are used to quickly assess the effectiveness of local governments.
According to the official portal of the Ministry, the indicators included in the rating characterize the development of the economy, the standard of living of the population and the state of the social sphere in municipalities. The target values used for its formation were developed jointly with the line ministries and established in cooperation agreements on economic development.
According to the results of 2022, the top five included the following municipalities:
- 1. Ichalkovsky municipal district;
- 2. Romodanovsky municipal district;
- 3. Insarsky municipal district;
- 4. Lyambirsky municipal district;
- 5. Ruzaevsky municipal district.
The decisive factors in determining the leaders are the increase in the investment attractiveness of the territories, the growth of wages, economic and tax potential and the increase in the revenue base of local budgets.
