The Head of Mordovia met with regional Business Ombudsman Elena Yurchenkova

On March 23, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a meeting with Elena Yurchenkova, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Republic of Moldova. The Business Ombudsman reported on her work over the past five years. During this period, the investment climate in the region has significantly improved, and an open dialogue between business and government has been established. As a result, the number of people employed in small and medium-sized enterprises has increased by a third. And the number of complaints from businesses is steadily decreasing. As noted by Elena Yurchenkova, the main part of the appeals is related to issues related to land and property relations.

In 2025, the Republic of Mordovia ranked 10th among the country's regions in terms of the implementation of the regional investment standard. This is an indicator of effective interaction between government authorities and the business community.

The Head of Mordovia stressed that it is important to maintain the positive dynamics of the business environment, continue work on the implementation of the investment standard and reduce administrative barriers to business. In order to promptly respond to emerging issues, the Business Ombudsman, together with representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, regularly holds meetings with entrepreneurs.
