Mordovian businesses are actively using digital opportunities to receive government support
Thanks to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", small and medium-sized businesses are actively using the digital capabilities of the SME.RF platform. In the first half of 2025 alone, more than 35,500 applications were registered for numerous regional support measures throughout Russia. The most popular are microfinance, marketing services, as well as training events and consultations.
"Digital platform provides entrepreneurs with online access to more than 800 regional support measures. This significantly reduces the time it takes to obtain the information or services needed to start and run a business. According to the results of the first half of the year, we see that almost every fourth application from entrepreneurs concerns the attraction of microfinance. Together with the regional authorities, we have formed a unified approach to providing the most needed support measures. This made it possible to standardize and digitalize the entire process - from submitting an application to signing an act on the provision of services. All stages can be completed online, without the need to personally visit regional authorities or business support infrastructure organizations," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.
Mordovia is among the regions actively using the digital capabilities of the platform.
"The subjects of the Russian Federation have their own personal accounts on a Digital platform through which they can provide support, process applications in a CRM system, provide reports on recipients of support, and receive operational statistics on the SME sector. This allows us not only to effectively interact with businesses on the provision of support measures, but also to see up-to-date analytics on the state of the segment of small and medium-sized businesses in our region," added Alexander Isaevich.
The platform was developed by the SME Corporation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to increase the availability of services and support measures for small and medium-sized businesses. It became available to entrepreneurs across Russia in February 2022.
