Mordovia leads Russia in the number of certified industrial tourism sites
Four sites in Mordovia have passed certification according to industrial tourism standards. The «Biokhimik» enterprise, the «Kemlya Distillery» winery, Ogarev Mordovia State University, and the tourism company «KRAY ZEMLEI. TOURISM» have received certificates from Roskachestvo.
«Enterprises in Mordovia are among the first in the country to complete this procedure, which demonstrates the region’s serious approach to developing the tourism industry», emphasised Alexandra Shershneva, head of the Roskachestvo‑Tourism certification body.
The certification confirms that the excursion routes, safety, and service level at the sites comply with the national standard. Information about the certification has been entered into the Federal State Information System of Rosaccreditation.
Artём Zdunov, Head of Mordovia, noted this important achievement: «Our republic has become a leader in the number of certified industrial tourism sites in Russia!»
