Artem Zdunov and his team from Mordovia are embarking on a large‑scale partnership with the Kaluga Region
On April 1, the Mordovia team, led by Artem Zdunov, is working in Kaluga. Over recent years, Mordovia and the Kaluga Region have strengthened their business partnership. The volume of goods exported from Mordovia has more than tripled, and the total trade volume between the two regions has exceeded one billion rubles.
At the meeting between Artem Zdunov, Head of Mordovia, and Vladislav Shapsha, Governor of the Kaluga Region, an ambitious goal was set: to reach a new level of cooperation. Vladislav Shapsha emphasised that Kaluga is one of the flagships for the development of industrial clusters in the country. The heart of the region’s economy is mechanical engineering.
Mordovia has already made a strong mark on the Kaluga market: supplies of semiconductor converters, instrumentation products, lighting equipment, and cable products have grown significantly.
As part of the visit, the Mordovia team toured leading enterprises in the Kaluga Region: Kaluzhsky Dvigatel (Kaluga Engine), AGR Automotive Group, and Tayfun (Typhoon). At these sites, they discussed prospects for expanding cooperation and increasing the range of supplies. The competencies of our manufacturers open up broad opportunities for this.
